So we are settling and Brett is healing! He's hoping that the doctor will let him start walking on it this next week. I have mixed feelings because it will be nice to have more help with things, but at the same time, I want him to let it heal and not push himself too fast, too soon. Anyway, we had our neighbors over for dinner last night and it was really fun and relaxing. It's so much fun to be able to do things like that now that we live in town. It was really hard to get together with friends in Washington because of the distance. Living here we can throw something together really fast and not have to plan it too far out. Our ward finally split a couple weeks ago and this last we just had sacrament meeting because nothing was organized yet. This week they are supposed to be organizing the Relief Society and Priesthood and then next week will be the primary and Sunday School. It's kind of nerve racking and excited to hear what our next calling will be!
Mekayla got stung by a bee the other day while I was talking to Mom on the phone and I forgot to call my mom back. She called later and wanted to know what had happened because I just said "Mekayla got bit! I got to go!" She got to thinking that it could have been a dog bite or something! Anyway, I thought it was funny. Mekayla is fine after the mud on her leg fell off! She lost another tooth last night and was really excited about it that she paraded it around the apartment complex showing it and her mouth off to all her friends. She woke up this morning in tears, carrying her tooth in her hand. "The tooth fairy didn't come!" OOPS! This was the second time the tooth fairy has forgotten her! I made her put it back under her pillow and said, "Well, maybe she's running late like last time!" She wasn't going to believe me with her added tears. Well, she got busy playing with Dallin and after breakfast, we noticed that her window was open in her room. She went rushing in and found her prizes under her pillow with a note saying that the tooth fairy had gone to our old house and it had taken longer than she had expected to get here. She left extra money and some tooth fairy coloring pages that Mekayla is very excited about.
Dallin started crawling a couple weeks ago and is now getting faster and faster! I put him down at the Distribution Center the other day and he crawled after me for a few aisles! It was so cute! He's starting to pull himself up on stuff now and I'm afraid it won't be long till he's walking too! I can't believe he's almost 11 month old, wow!
Tepaynga keeps counting down the days till her birthday in September. It's going to be a long couple of months! She's making more friends and finally getting adjusted to Brett working all the time again. She got used to him being around so much and had a hard time with the idea of him working every day.
Brett is loving work and gets to take his first call today with help! He was so excited this morning that I'm eager to see how it went. His work has there own softball tournament tonight and he's telling me they are going to let him play one game of it as a catcher. We'll see!
Got to go get some more boxes unpacked! Hope everyone is fine and healthy on their end!
