We survived last week!

Yea! The 3 on 3 basketball tournament is over and we are still alive (tired but alive!) I'm just really glad we don't have to do this again! We actually got nice weather, our prayers were answered and we had sun and not rain and wind like it had been the rest of the week. Well, we had sun up until the championship games and then we got a downpour! Dallin and I waited in the car until Brett was done! I plastered Dallin in sunscreen, but Brett and I got so busy we forgot to put some on ourselves and we got burned!
The girls had fun at their cousins house and when they saw us afterwards, they weren't even excited like they usually are, so sad, does this mean they are growing up?
Last weekend Dallin got his first tooth and then the same week Mekayla lost her other tooth, Dallin got another one! Dallin's gaining and Mekayla is losing!
Last week at the garage sale, Tepaynga said the cutest thing that I forgot to put in the last one. She comes into the garage, puts her arm on the table and looks at me very seriously and said, "So, Mom, How's work in the garage?" She's so cute her face was so serious and grown-up that I died laughing!
Anyway, I think we're going camping this weekend, so we'll see how that goes, then it's packing and busy until we leave! Love you all! T.T.F.N.

My big girl!

Mekayla lost another tooth last night! Well, Daddy pulled it out with pliers and it bled a little more, but it's been loose for a while now and she wanted him to pull it this time. This morning she woke up and her tooth was still under her pillow! (oops!) I don't know how the tooth fairy forgot, but magically before she left for school, she had money and the tooth was gone! She thinks the toothfairy did it with her magic! All is well now and she was quite excited to get money and loves looking in the mirror at her two missing bottom middle teeth!

Life is Crazy Busy!

We are sooo busy until Mekayla gets out of school that its nuts! This last weekend, we had a garage sale and got rid of about half of our house! We made some good money, but it was a little bitter-sweet to see some things go that we are not going to have room for in Utah. Dallin got his first tooth this weekend as well, so while we were preparing things last week, you can imagine how happy he was. Poor little guy, we just thought he was wanting attention, but he was hurting. What can ya' do now though right! He's so stinkin' cute! He gets more fun every day!! The girls are just growing up! They were cute last night they were doing Kareoke on our new machine and were dancing and singing up a storm!
We called apartments last week and were informed that we were third on the list for one and 15th on the list for the other. The latter is the one we want, but it would be nice just to know where we are going and that we for sure have a place!
The girls have a lot of dance performances on top of practice and then pictures and t-ball practices, games and pictures. Mekayla has her school BBQ coming up this week, and she will perform for the parents at the end of the school year!
Brett is in charge of the Spring Festival 3 on 3 Baskeball tournament this weekend, which I always get roped into helping with, and that has a lot of busy work to be done for it still.
On top of all of this, we have to pack and keep the house somewhat liveable in the process. Life will be nuts, but it will be fun in the process we hope!

Our trip!

Brett and I took off with Dallin on Wed. to Logan to go find a place to live and view our job options! We had an interesting run around with the real estate agency and vowed never to go through them again! We decided to get an apartment, rather than a house right now and move down and get to know the area better! Brett got a lot of job apps. and we have plenty of options as soon as we hear back from the apartments we applied to, we'll have a moving date and be able to turn in the apps. as well!
We timed the trip right as my brother Ian graduated from USU this weekend. It was good to see all my family and get caught up with them! Ian will go on to Medical school and we are hoping he goes to Arizona as that will be closer for all of us! We are anxious to move down and are planning our yard sale for next weekend! AHHH! Tons of things to do and pack. This is going to be a busy month or so until we leave. The girls have their final dance performances all month and into next, as well as t-ball, and finishing up with Mekayla's school! It's going to be interesting, but fun this next little while! We hope we all survive the madness! Wish us luck!
